“ I have been going to this restaurant since the 1980s. The staff are friendly and remember things I do, even if they haven't seen me for a while. The restaurant and bathroom are all perfectly clean. The food has changed a little over the years, but normally is good quality with good portions, and you do not have to wait to be served.. I don't order from home for delivery, since I'm old-fashioned and like to eat in the restaurant. With so many changes in our community, during the past few years, I'm glad that this relic has remained with us all these years, which demonstrates that the community does appreciate it. I recommend dining in and enjoying the atmosphere. ”

“ This is just my honest review.As I was a customer and I enjoyed the food. The food was very tasty wasn't saturated with oil. White rice was cooked perfectly. No complaints in that department which is my favorite. And I have been here a few times, The food is very good fresh as I was picking up my orders after works The ownership is very nice talks and does conversation in perfect good english. The business is not over Decorated but had a neat and clean feel. Chairs are nice and comfortable but waiting times for food are long at all. “ So, I like this place but I think you need to weigh out what it is. So many Chinese places are either take-out only holes in the wall, or more high end sit down places. This place is more square in the middle. If you're looking for authentic hot pot, this is not the place for you. The food quality (in my opinion) is a small notch above the hole in the wall place (not by much) but I like the option that you can sit here for a meal if you want, or do a quick take out or deliver place. This is my go-to chinese place in the area. ”

“ While Greenpoint surely has more glamorous spots where you maybe can find Newton Creek Striped Bass with McCarren Park-foraged nettles in lime-cilantro reduction, Chinese Restaurant is a solid practitioner of an older, humbler tradition. I didn't want to spend too much time reading the lengthy menu with closing time approaching, so I opted for roast pork with mixed vegetables. The meat was a knockout, but I enjoyed the crisp broccoli and other fresh vegetables. ”

I always order their orange beef and pork chow fun, and taste is always spot on, especially their orange beef I really think its one of the best in NYC. I can't speak for other dishes or their dine-in services, but those two dishes and the delivery is always great. ”
